I’ve been busy with school but we went on our first ray’s trip of the year so i have lots to show ya’ll. Be patient…..school costs me lots of dough. Here’s one pic to tide ya over. Bigger version seen here as well as a few other snaps from the weekend.

Big Photo post coming soon………we promise!!!!!
Gettin Drrrrrrrrty
Well since my schooling is beyond busy, my posting and riding photography have been a lil on the slow side. But none the less, here’s some stuff for everyone…….The Plainfield dirt jam went down about two weeks ago and it was a blast. Cambr West was host of the thing and they did a great job of putting everything together and getting tons and tons of free swag to give away, I don’t think anyone walked away empty handed. The riding was laid back, with everyone just wanting to have a good ole sunday sesh. Besides the jam, not too much has gone down the last few weeks. The weather has been beyond crappy not leaving any time for riding really. In shop new though, almost all manufacturer’s 2010 models are out. We had about 7 Fit completes in and they came and went with the wind. I’m sure more will be in soon, but special orders are always welcome. Come in and hang out and watch some vids with us or if weather is permitting get out and ride your dang bike. Click here for some good ole’ fashion fun.
Backyard Boosting
Hannenburg has been workin hard on his backyard, and there have been some sessions goin down as of late. I stopped over the other day to see that the bike shop groms (Billy and Mark) were 6 feet in the ground diggin out clay…..way to put those new schoolers to work Hanny. Meckley was also there helpin out and Frank came later to ride a lil. So a photo session went down. Click here for some shots. Check out here for some candids from around the shop.

sessions sessions and more sessions
So the last few weeks since the Dew Tour have passed and things have been a little less chaotic. The weather has been on the crappy side, but there have been a ton of sessions goin down at lots of the parks in the area and everyone has been having good times. With summer winding down i’m sure we will start getting things done for sure. The shop has been busy as usual, we have had a lot of parts coming in and out constantly. If you’re lookin for a good complete BMX bike we have some of the Stolen completes in stock. Come check em out before they are gone. The inaugural OPC Burbank jam is gonna go down still sometime in mid August. Some of the OPC crew went on a west coast excursion, so getting things scheduled has been a little delayed. Check out the gallery to see some of the action that has gone down lately.
Finally an update after Dew Tour.
So Dew Tour came and went, and it was an amazing weekend. The riding was insane, the parties were insane, and the weather was insane(ly) hot. It took a while to edit all the photos to upload and it has been busy around the shop, so I apologize about the delay. I had a blast though walking around shooting photos and just enjoying having an event like that come through Chicago. Our tent was a hit, with tons of people stopping by to grab some posters and talk about anything riding related. Dawayne was the all star of the booth’s thats all I know. This is just a quick recap though I’m sure most have heard about the results and started to see coverage on TV and the internet. Thanks to everyone that came by and to everyone that helped us with anything related to the Dew Tour.
Finally some summer weather.
Well summer weather is shortly coming around. The shop had another Dew Tour demo, unfortunately I was not there to witness the madness of the B96 Summer Bash. The crew this time around was Mike Stanek, Brian Cerceo, Jerry Oriley, and Trent McDaniel. The weather didn’t look promising as it rained all morning long, but things turned for the best when the sun came out. From what I heard the run up to the ramp wasn’t the greatest but regardless the crew let their tricks fly. Hopefully some photos will surface from the demo. In other news I went to the city to ride with some people on Sunday. Cerceo, Trent, Bob A., Jeff Harrington and myself all rode downtown and enjoyed the nice weather. It was a pretty chill day, but some good riding got done. Check the gallery to catch some shots of the action. In shop news though, we finally received some new Fit Completes. Anyone wanting a new BMX complete that is built right should check em out. We have some TRL 1’s, PRK 1’s, and TRL 2’s. Other than that hopefully the weather stays warmer and everyone gets more riding in. Also, Dew Tour is coming June 26th and 27th in Grant Park, come watch some riding and chill with us in our tent.

Our first Dew Tour Demo went down yesterday!!!!
So the Cycles N Sports/Dew Tour demos officially started yesterday June 2nd, thanks to lots of hard work and a little luck from mother nature. Our first demo happened in front of the beautiful U.S Cellular Field, home of the Chicago White Sox. Things looked bleak earlier in the day with multiple issues working against us, but all came together and things worked out amazingly. We set up shop in front of Gate 5, and soon after that our crew started rockin’ out hard on our box jump. The riders that were showcasing their skills were Kevin Porter, Koji Kraft, Mike Stanek, Steve Basselhoff (Tailwhip Steve), Anthony Laconte (Front Brake Tony), Brian Cerceo, and Jerry from Cambr West. Most of our shop employees also helped with other things if they were not riding, Brett took care of MCing, Phil was on music duties, I (Tim) was on photographic duty, and Dawayne pretty much ran the show handling managerial duties. Tons of tricks went down, with lots of flips, spins, and whips to satisfy all. Check out the gallery to see the action. There were good vibes throughout the show all thanks to the White Sox fans that helped cheer on our riders. Soon after the demo most of the crew got to go into the ballpark to go on the field and throw out the first pitch. The day didn’t end up completely perfect though, since the White Sox lost to the Athletics 5 to nothing, but you can’t win em all. Thank you to everyone that helped put this thing together especially the Alliance of Action Sports and The Chicago White Sox. Our next demo will be on Saturday June 13th at the B96 Summer Bash held at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL. All of this is leading up to the Dew Tour that is to be held in Grant Park on June 26th and 27th. Stop in the shop for more info and also to check out all the new goodies that are coming in for the summertime. Lata

Box jump work Finale!!!
The Dew Tour box is getting finished up for the demo’s that are to go down from our crew. We had a bunch of our friends and workers help out with everything from moving our beast of a ramp arround, to test jumping and also screwing down some good ole’ ply wood. Everything looks to be coming together nicely and the box is suuuuuuper smooth. Thanks to all that helped out. Check out the gallery for more photos.
